After completing my PGCE and embarking on my teaching journey, I quickly progressed to overseeing Literacy in both Key Stage 1 & 2 as Literacy Subject Leader. I was then selected to develop a reading initiative specifically aimed at raising boys’ interest in reading and addressing the ‘reading gender gap’.
After being selected for Babcock’s ‘Future Leaders Programme’ I then helped set up a new English curriculum school in Dubai as Founding Key Stage 1 Leader and overseeing assessment throughout the school and worked closely with the SENCo to deliver intervention for a range of needs such as Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, Speech and Language, PDA, ADHD and Autism.
On returning to London I started working with families both privately and within schools to support and address specific learning goals regarding SEN and behavioural needs - and T is for Tuition was born.
During the last 10 years I have taught a wide range of children with a variety of learning styles, from ‘gifted and talented’ to those with ‘special educational needs’, behavioural challenges and particular emotional needs.
As a recognised Apple Teacher, Qualified Forest School Leader and ASA certified school swimming teacher, I bring a breadth of knowledge and experience integrating the outdoors with innovation, creativity, technology - and plenty of fun.

I am currently a Local Authority Governor at Colville Primary School, Notting Hill (Ofsted rated outstanding) with the role of Link Governor for SEND and Inclusion.
Outside of teaching I love being active - for example I recently cycled (solo) over 8 days from Paris to Monaco in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
